Kathleen Groom

Prayer Sisters is a ministry consisting of small groups of women committed to supporting one another in prayer, friendship, and spiritual growth, who meet regularly to pray.

Kathy and her friends began the first Prayer Sisters group several years ago in Parker, Colorado. They quickly saw the powerful benefits of such a ministry. With a desire to see other women share in the same enriching benefits, they prayed for the vision to help other groups get started. They have launched www.PrayerSisters.org, a non-profit ministry designed to create and support other Prayer Sisters groups.

Kathy travels and speaks about Prayer Sisters. She works directly with Women's Ministry Directors to help launch a Prayer Sisters ministry within their own churches. Through her speaking, she inspires women to begin their own groups and instructs them how to get started. With training and follow-up materials, she helps women begin and maintain this valuable ministry.
